Southwest Baptist Church promotes an awareness of the need and the opportunities for missions and evangelism. Our three major mission offerings:

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
North American Mission Board missionaries in US & Canada are enabled to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Because every dollar given to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering goes to direct support of missionaries and their ministries, Southern Baptists are confident offering gifts are an investment in eternity.

The California Mission Offering
The California Mission Offering (CMO) supports efforts in "Reaching the World in California," by Community Ministry Projects, Church Starting Projects and education opportunities and resources, scholarships for ministerial students at California Baptist University and offering promotion.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
“How many million more souls are to pass into eternity without having heard the name of Jesus?" That question, ubiquitous in the letters of Lottie Moon, seared her heart as she planted her life as a missionary to China a century ago. During the past five generations, Southern Baptists have been motivated by Lottie Moon to plant their lives in missions by going or supporting others who are carrying the gospel light into the darkness. Today, International Missions Board supports 5,077 missionaries in the field.

Giving It Back to Kids
Giving it Back to Kids is a non-profit corporation dedicated to helping kids achieve their maximum potential through medical care, education, nutrition and love. Dona Watson and Debby LaBare went to Vietnam in April to donate their time and talent to help some families, donating a house to one family and a heart operation to a 16-month-old girl.
We also support Missionary Aviation Fellowship, Wycliffe Bible Translators, the Gideons International, and the San Diego Rescue Mission. Christmas offerings vary, from Angel Tree (gifts for prisoners' children) to this year's Operation Christmas Child.
